Live Arrival Guarantee & Refund Policy

At Oscar’s Exotics, we take pride in providing healthy live aquatic plants and livestock. All orders are carefully packed to help ensure safe arrival.

Due to the nature of live animals and plants, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

Refunds or replacements are only offered for verified DOA (Dead on Arrival) claims that meet the following requirements:

  • Claims must be submitted within 2 hours of the recorded delivery time.

  • Clear photos of the unopened bag containing the deceased livestock must be provided.

  • Clear photos of the deceased livestock outside of the bag on a paper towel or napkin must also be provided.

  • Photos must be clear and taken immediately upon opening the package.

Failure to provide the required photos within the required timeframe may result in the claim being denied.

The live arrival guarantee only applies to the first delivery attempt. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, incorrect addresses, extreme weather, or unattended packages after delivery.

Orders may be delayed during severe weather conditions to help ensure safe arrival of livestock.

Order cancellations may be subject to up to a 20% cancellation/restocking fee depending on order status and preparation.

By placing an order with Oscar’s Exotics, customers acknowledge and agree to these terms.
